In systems analysis and design students learn a variety of theories and practice the business requirements that are necessary to implement a system. Other topics that are covered throughout the course include documenting the organizational process of creating a system, analyzing information flows, and creating an information system.
Dr. Pratt is an associate professor of information systems at University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. She earned her B.S. degree at the University of Idaho, and continued her education by getting a masters and Ph.D. at Utah State University. Dr. Pratt teaches courses on Systems Analysis and Design and Database Management. Dr. Pratt enjoys researching about Bibliometrics, computer-based learning environments, and user-interface design.
