A study of information systems in business to include management decision support systems, concepts of systems analysis and design, and information processing. Students will learn to use and apply various software programs as productivity tools.
Don Gaber is a senior lecturer of information systems at the University of Wisconsin ? Eau Claire. He worked as an IT professional in the Chippewa Valley from the mid-1980?s until he began teaching the Computer Networking Technologies program at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College ? Ashland campus in 2001. He has been teaching at UWEC since 2007. His courses include IS-240: Information Systems in Business, IS-290: Introduction to Database Applications, and IS-304: Fundamentals of Business Programming. Don has a technical degree in Computer Networking Technologies from WITC ? Ashland, and received his B.S. and M.S. from the University of Wisconsin ? Stout in Menomonie.
