Political Science 324 looks at all the aspects that have affected politics in Asia, focusing on China, India, Japan, South Korea and Indonesia. The class brings cultural, economic, and historical perspectives into account when examining the political development.
Dr. Eunsook Jung is an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She earned her Ph.D. in the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 2009. Her research interest lies in Islamic organizations and their political engagement in Indonesia. This semester, she teaches Politics of Asia (POLS 324), Political Islam (Honors 103), and Problems in Developing Nations (POLS 265). She will teach Political Violence (POLS 329), Politics of Southeast Asia (POLS 326) and Islam and Politics (POLS 328) in the spring.
