This course explores key women activists and the American civil rights movement in which they were involved. This course also focuses on the significant contributions of African American women in the fight for civil rights.

Meet the Professor!

Jodi Thesing-Ritter has served UW-Eau Claire for 16 years- first as a Residence Hall Director, then Assistant Director of Housing and Residence Life, and as the Associate Dean of Students for the last five years. Jodi also team taught Women?s Studies 100: Race, Class, and Gender. She was honored with the University?s highest award for academic staff in 1998- UW-Eau Claire Excellence Award.
