Professor Mitchell Baroni

Mitch Baroni is a Lecturer of Spanish in the Department of Languages at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. He came to Eau Claire from his hometown Fresno, California, where he received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Hispanic Linguistics. His research interests include pedagogical techniques in Second Language Acquisition, Spanish phonetics and phonology, and historical linguistics. He enjoys teaching Spanish at all levels, and has taught first through fourth semester and advanced conversation Spanish courses at UWEC. Outside of the classroom he enjoys spending time with his family and rooting for the Yankees.
