Dr. Rudy Buiser

Dr. Rodolfo G Buiser is an Assistant Professor of Biology. He received his Bachelor’s of Sciences from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania. He had a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. His research was examining the role of reverse transcriptase in HIV replication. Dr. Buiser completed his postdoctoral fellowship at Parke-Davis Pharmaceuticals in Ann Arbor, Michigan. His research examined ways of inhibiting HIV replication by inhibiting the viral enzyme integrase. Dr. Buiser currently teaches Biology 100-General Biology, Biology 111-Essentials of Cell Biology and Genetics, Biology 320-Cell Biology, and Biology 353-Biotechnology.
