Dr. Garry Running

Dr. Gary Running is an Associate Professor for the Geography and Anthropology Department of the College of Arts and Sciences at UW-Eau Claire. He received his Doctorate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1997. He has been a professor at UW-Eau Claire since 1996 and had previously taught at UW-Madison. He currently teaches GEOG 104: The Physical Environment, GEOG 178: Conservation of the Environment, GEOG 350: Soils and the Environment, GEOG 375: Environmental Quality, and GEOG 550: Soils class projects. He is currently researching the Late Quaternary geomorphic history of the Lower Chippewa River Valley as well as the SCAPE Project (Study of Cultural Adaptations within the Prairies Ecozone).
