ECON 104 - Dr. David Schaffer
Principles of Macroeconomics
ECON 104 is a course that focuses on the decisions of scarcity and resources made by the whole economy. As opposed to microeconomics, which is based on a local level, macroeconomics gathers information from local, national and global economies.
Dr. Schaffer's course in particular has students use their analytical skills to solve problems and better understand the course material. This course helps develop three of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's "Liberal Education Learning Goals" such as knowledge of human culture and the natural world, creative and critical thinking, and lastly effective communication.
