Introduction to World Politics
This class is aimed at introducing students to the fundamental concepts, ideas, theories, and methods utilized in the study of global politics.
By the end of the term students are expected to have developed a more sophisticated and systematic outlook of global politics. Students are encouraged to apply these theories and concepts to contemporary global issues in order to determine their relative success in explaining world politics and thus their corresponding utility in guiding US foreign policy.
