Introduction to Comparative Government

This course introduces comparative politics, the sub-field of political science that compares political systems from various countries around the world.

This course highlights the purpose of comparative politics by evaluating the development of democracy in countries in Europe, North America and the rest of the world, in order to answer the question: is there one uniform formula for developing a democratic society?
